Welcome Letter

Dr. William J. Carter

Meadowview Elementary Principal

Welcome Letter

Greetings all teachers, students, parents, and community members, let me express how honored and delighted I am to serve as Principal of Meadowview Elementary School.  I look forward to meeting and working with each of you as we continue on a path towards excellence in student achievement, increased instructional rigor, and stakeholder engagement.

Our instructional focus will provide every student academic resources needed to excel in Reading, ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Professional learning opportunities for teachers will focus on creating more instructional rigor in the classroom, and developing a stronger and deeper comprehension of Curriculum, Instruction, Assessment, and Accountability for the benefit of all learners. We will work cooperatively to increase stakeholder engagement as we work together with the PTA, School Council, local businesses and community leaders.

I must recognize the great work of the Meadowview faculty and staff for sustaining progress. Their continuous practice of appropriate rituals and routines combined with their commitment to educational excellence for all Meadowview students has been important for maintaining a focus on learning.  We encourage all parents and guardians to be active participants in the education of their students. Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] or (678) 874-5302.
