To give encouragement, to impart sympathy, to show interest, to banish fear, to build self-confidence and awaken hope in the hearts of others, in short---to be a teacher is to render the most precious service."
- Bryant S. Hinkley

At Meadowview Elementary, the staff and parents adhere to this nurturing and encouraging philosophy so that they can establish within the hearts and minds of the students those qualities of determination, ambition, and imagination that produce tomorrow’s leaders.

SCHOOL GOALS
At Meadowview School, we believe that every child can and will learn. With that belief, we strive to offer each child an academic program that addresses his/ her specific needs in a way that encourages and incorporates hands-on, active, engaged learning. We seek to provide an atmosphere that is nurturing, supportive, and conducive to learning. Above all, we recognize that each child is a unique, important individual.

Meadowview has made great strides toward becoming an excellent school over the past few years. The staff commits time and energy into improving reading and math achievement of all students, and their diligent efforts paid off when standardized test scores increased in many areas 20 to 50 percentile points. Dramatic increases in Reading scores were attributed to reformed instructional materials and techniques.
