The Autobiography of Julia Wade

I was born to Mr. and Mrs. James Turner in 1952. I am the fourth child out of eight in the family. As a child, I attended Glenwood Elementary and Barrow County High School in Winder, Georgia. After completing school, I went on to attend Bryant Nursing School. I married Mr. Eddie Wade Sr. and to this family was born two children: Eddie Wade Jr., Canika Wade, and six grandchildren.

            I have worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield Insurance. I worked there for twenty-four years and then retired in 1995. I’ve also completed the Genesis School of Ministry in Leadership and Project Development on March 28, 1997. I also completed Homiletics I on June 26, 1997.

I have taught Sunday School at Mount Zion Baptist Church and received a Primary and Beginner’s Class Certificate. I had a chance to attend a Music Workshop under Reggie Gay in 2005. I completed a Basic Theology Course on December 15, 2005 under Pastor Gregory Sherman. I have done volunteer work at the Sunrise Home and completed the Nutrition and Special Diet Course on July 13, 2011. I received a Certificate of Ministerial Credentials as an Exhorter From Spiritual Victory Through Christ. I have also received an Associate of Ministry Degree from Ministry International Institute on November 12, 2011.

I have been manager at Payless Shoe Source as well as Ashley Stewart. I have written three plays and produce all of them. I also write poetry.
